Prior Authorizations

If required by your insurance company, we will complete a prior authorization request. Completion time frame falls between 24-72 hours once the prior authorization is submitted to your insurance and incurs a $25 fee. Your pharmacy will tell you if a particular prescription drug requires a prior authorization. It is their responsibility to contact our office to request that a prior authorization be initiated.

Please be advised that if your insurance company requires additional information, your prior authorization may take up to 2 weeks to complete. A prior authorization DOES NOT guarantee coverage. We do not have control over your prescription drug coverage program. If your prior authorization is denied, please contact your insurance company for questions or complaints.
