Colleen Blanchfield, M.D.

 
Dr. Colleen Blanchfield, earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin in 1981 with majors in Zoology and an independent major entitled bye Biology and Psychology of Women. After finishing her residencies in Neurology and Psychiatry at State University Health Science Center in Brooklyn, Dr. Colleen Blanchfield chose to begin her neuropsychiatric practice in Northern Virginia. She was attracted to the diversity of the area as well as the strong sense of family and community that she found here.
 
She had a successful Neuropsychiatric practice in Falls Church from 1992 to 2004. She was on staff at Dominion Hospital and Fairfax Hospital and performed electroconvulsive therapy at both hospitals. She has a life long interest in the brain, behavior and mind-body connections. She has opened this center with the intent of expanding her knowledge and her ability to help people help themselves. She moved her practice to Reston in early 2004 for personal as well as professional reasons. In both Neurology and Psychiatry, Dr. Blanchfield provides clinical assessment and evaluation as well as medication management. She is licensed to practice acupuncture in Virginia. She is married to another Washington-area physician and is the mother of two young sons.

Julie Russell, APRN

 
Julie Russell was born and raised in New Jersey. After graduating in 1975 with a degree in nursing form Salve Regina College in Rhode Island, she went to earn her MS in psychiatric nursing form Catholic University of America. In 1992, Julie received her certificate in analytic family and couples therapy from the Washington School of Psychiatry.
 
She has taught as an adjunct faculty member at Marymount University, and worked in inpatient acute care, intermediate care and outpatient community health in both private and public sectors. In keeping with her focus on an approach to healing and recovery linking mind, body and spirt, Julie uses both cognitive behavioral techniques and hypnotherapy. She is currently co-teaching a mind, body, spirit seminar. Julie enjoys the simple pleasures in life, hiking, cooking, reading, family and friends.

Debra S. Robbins, RN, FNP, LCSW

 
Debra Robbins has been a Registered Nurse for over three decades. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Virginia in 1977, a Master's Degree in Social Work from Norfolk State University in 1996, and a second Master's Degree in Nursing from Old Dominion University in 2006. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Nurses Association. She is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker by the Commonwealth of Virginia and is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
 
Debra has conducted individual and group psychotherapy for many individuals, including chemically dependent patients and children of incarcerated parents. She worked in private psychotherapy practice for ten years, during which time she was also a Special Advocate Program Volunteer appointed by the state juvenile and domestic courts. Her education and experience in both medical care and psychotherapy make her a perfect match for the integrated care practice at Full Circle Neuropsychiatric Wellness Center.

Jennifer L. Bunkley, Ph.D., MSW

 
Dr. Jennifer Bunkley received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA in 1992. She then attended Florida International University, from where she graduated in 1995 with a Master's Degree in Social Work. She earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology in 2001 from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL. Her internship in Clinical Psychology was completed at Howard University Hospital, Washington, DC, after which she worked at the hospital providing psychotherapy to patients. During a five-year post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, she conducted research on clinical issues and provided outpatient individual, group, and family psychotherapy.
 
Dr. Bunkley has worked with patients of all ages in individual, family, couples, and group therapy settings. She has experience treating individuals suffering from chronic illness, depression, anxiety, and those in life transition. Dr. Bunkley trained at EEG Spectrum International in neurofeedback. She has had a private practice in Baltimore for several years. Dr. Bunkley offers psychotherapy and neurofeedback to patients at Full Circle Neuropsychiatric Wellness Center.

Stacy Keith, P.T, IMT

 
Stacy G. Keith obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas Women's University and a second Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas. She has had extensive experience over nearly two decades as a physical therapist in hospital settings, in rehabilitation and therapy facilities, and in independent practice. Her clients have included geriatric and orthopedic patients, as well as those suffering from chronic pain and fibromyalgia.
 
Stacy began studying Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT) in 1998 and trained with Sharon Weiselfish-Giammatteo, the developer of IMT. She uses IMT methods along with traditional physical therapy techniques to achieve effective therapeutic treatment.

Susan Moore, M.S., RD

 
Susan Moore is a Registered Dietitian with over 25 years. experience in weight management and treatment of disordered eating. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical and Community Nutrition from the University of Florida and a Master's degree in Adult Education from Virginia Tech. She was Program Manager for The George Washington University Weight Management Program, where she coordinated and led cognitive-behavioral groups. She was co-leader of the Women's Bulimia Group of Tampa and behavioral program leader for the Institute of Health maintenance, also in Tampa, FL. As the Northern Virginia Site Director for Virginia Tech's Dietetic Internship Program, Susan Moore supervises the research activities of newly graduated students of nutrition.
 
Susan is a member of the Virginia and American Dietetic Associations and the Washington Society for the Study of Eating Disorders and Obesity, having served on the latter's Board of Director for several years. Currently she serves on the Legislative and Public Policy Committee of the Board of Directors of the American Dietetic Association.
 
Susan offers individual nutrition counseling and group classes at Full Circle Neuropsychiatric Wellness Center.

Edward Bilanchone, RMT

 
Edward Bilanchone is a native of New England and began his training as a Ballet Dancer in 1970. He has taught dance, movement and exercise rehab since 1980. Persistent back problems led to the study of the Alexander Technique starting in 1986.
 
As a Certified Teacher of the Alexander Technique he has taught in hospitals and universities around the country. His specialty is to teach pain management skills that reduce and often eliminate pain. He also uses his skills to bring athletes and performing artists to their optimum performance level. Ed is currently writing a book combining his 16 year practice of Tai Chi and the Alexander Technique with his life-long passion for golf.
